Hi! Noticed you were into fitness and nutrition, so I figured you could help me out with a few questions I had. I'm looking to lose weight/slim down a bit. I actually weigh pretty average for my height, but I'm a bit chubby either way. I'm thinking about running every other day for about an hour and a half, and then come back home to do misc. resistance exercises. I'm actually looking to tone down and build a bit of muscle by the end of this month... any ideas/advice?

Yes! Haha I love helping! Ok, the most important thing by a long shot is diet! You need to eat really clean, and increase your protein intake. If you want to slim down, and build lean muscle, do some heavy lifting! Core compound exercises like squat, deadlift, bench press, barbell row, and military press, will get you the results you’re looking for. Try to aim for around 5-8 reps and 3 sets for each of those exercises every other day, or just take your rest as needed before the next workout! The running is great too, cardio will definitely help you tone up, but so will the lifting! Hope this helps!
